25th Year Kick-Off Celebration
This year marks the 25th anniversary of COS and we invite you to attend our 25th Year Kick-Off celebration Sunday, January 30th at 6pm. Come enjoy a catered meal, stories and pictures from the past shared by Dr. Rick Miller and Mark Londagin and learn more about where God is leading COS into the future. Please fill out the RSVP card located in your bulletin or on the welcome table and place it in the offering bucket no later than Sunday, January 23rd. Won't be here this Sunday, but would like to attend the event? Please send an email to office@grovecos.com with your name, phone number, and the number of people attending (don't forget to include yourself) no later than Saturday, January 22nd.

2021 Contributions
2021 Giving Statements were emailed January 19th and printed statements will be available in the lobby January 23rd. Please note, emailed statements are accessed via link and will expire on February 2nd.

Weather Related Closings
If there is a weather-related closing, we will send a push notification to the app, post to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Winter Jam 2022
COS will be attending Winter Jam on February 12, 2022. What is Winter Jam? WJ is a multi-band concert at the BOK center in Tulsa, OK. The cost is $20 and is open to students in 7th grade and above and adults.
We will leave COS on Saturday the 12th at 12:00pm (noon) and return around 10:30pm. To register and pay, please click here.

Get Involved Through Project 7
January is the Sanctity of Human Life Month and to honor this, COS Project 7 is partnering with the Lighthouse Pregnancy Center to help gather the following items:
*Diapers size 4, 5, and 6
*Pullups size 2T - 5T
*Newborn Girls Clothes
*Toddler Boys Clothes
*Butt Paste
*13 Gallon Trash Bags

All donations will be used for babies and toddlers in the surrounding communities. Please take donations to the LPC at 638 N 5th St in Jay or drop off at COS. If you have any questions, please contact Robbi Wright at 918-791-8565 or to reach the LPC directly call 918-253-5472

The Christian HELP Center is in need of small, household appliances such as microwaves, hot plates, convection ovens - things to cook food on/in when a stove is unavailable. They also need plastic bags and can openers. Please take your donations to the HELP Center located east of town of Hwy 10, just passed the Grove High School. They are open Mon-Wed-Thurs from 10am to 2pm. Contact Pat at 918-786-6798 if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

Weekly Bible Studies and Groups

 COS Youth
Is our Wednesday night ministry for 7th - 12th grade that meets during the school year and follows the GPS school calendar. Check-in starts at 6:00pm, activities begin at 6:30pm and ends around 7:30pm.

COS Kids
Is our Wednesday night ministry for 4th - 6th grade students that meets during the school year and follows the GPS school calendar. Check-in starts at 3:30pm, activities begin at 4pm and will end at 5:30pm.

COS Student Ministries is always looking for energetic volunteers who are passionate about teaching children about Jesus. Volunteer opportunities for Sunday morning include nursery (0-2 years), Little Ones (3-5 years) and COS Kids (6-12 years).  Wednesday evenings include COS Kids in 4th - 6th grade and COS Youth in grades 7th - 12th. Support positions are available as well. These include check-in assistance and sound booth technicians. A background check is required for all volunteers. A Few Good Men
A Few Good Men meets Thursday nights at COS at 6:30PM.  This group exists to empower and motivate men to live out God's view of manhood and be the best husbands, fathers, and leaders God has called them to be. For more information contact Jonathan Whitney at 918-787-4365.
Bible Study Fellowship
BSF meets at COS during the school year on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8PM. Men, women and children ages 6-18 are welcome to join and will be studying in separate small groups, but all the same material on the book of Matthew. BSF will run for 30 weeks during the school year or there are several short 4 weeks studies like The Sermon on the Mount you can join. Narcotics Anonymous
This group meets in the COS Kid's Wing Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am, and Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evening at 7pm. The purpose of this group is to provide help from peers and offer an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. Narcotics Anonymous, is not meant to imply a focus on any particular drug; NA’s approach makes no distinction between drugs including alcohol. Membership is free, and there is no affiliation with any organizations outside of NA including governments, religions, law enforcement groups, or medical and psychiatric associations.
