Big Family Gathering
Please join us for our annual church conference on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024. This will be a potluck dinner, so please bring a meal, side dish, or dessert to share with everyone.
During this time, we will present the 2024 budget, introduce the leadership team, highlight what we have done, and cast the vision for where we are heading in the new year.

Paint Day!
On Saturday, January 20th, starting at 10:00 am, we will paint the big room in the COS Kids’ wing. If you are available and would like to help, see Next Generation Pastor Jason Cox or email him at jason@grovecos.com. Thank you in advance for your help in making this space a great learning environment for our kids to enjoy!

Pack Shack Feed the Funnel Party!
Who's ready for a Feed the Funnel Party? WE ARE! The Project 7 Ministry Team is excited to host this event on Sunday, February 4th, at 6 pm.
Want to get more involved? Volunteers, especially those with strong muscles, are needed after church that day to help pick up chairs, put down plastic, unload the truck, prepare ingredients for the festivities, clean up, and load full boxes in a trailer. If you are interested in helping with set-up or tear-down, please contact Jenny at 918-787-4365 or office@grovecos.com.

One Another Opportunity
On Saturday, February 10th, at 10am, one of our church members needs help unloading their trailers at their new home. If you can help, please get in touch with Jenny at office@grovecos.com or 918-787-4365.

2023 Giving Statements
Giving Statements will be emailed to all members with an email address on file by January 19th. Printed statements will be available in the lobby for those without an email address on January 21st. Please note that emailed statements are accessed via a link and will expire if not opened and saved within two weeks. If you prefer a printed statement, please email Jenny at office@grovecos.com by January 18th.
Our office is closed on Fridays
Tithes & Offerings
You give to the church, but where does it all go? Here is how your tithes and offerings are used at COS: Weekly tithes and unmarked offerings are deposited in the General Fund Account to be used towards operational expenses and other church-sponsored ministry areas. If you would like to contribute above your tithe, COS offers the following giving opportunities.
  • Places & Spaces (Building Fund) - these funds are used for major improvements to the church building or building debt reduction as needed.
  • Benevolence Fund – Our primary focus is people in our church and those living in the cities of Grove and Jay who are struggling to pay their utility bills and have received a cut-off notice. An application process is used, and a committee follows a set of guidelines to determine the amount of assistance to be awarded. It is our desire to be a “hand-up” ministry and work with willing applicants to teach them how to budget their resources so they can thrive instead of just trying to survive.
  • Project 7 - At COS we want to be a part of what Jesus desires for his church. To do this, we partner with agencies to provide love and support for the poor and underprivileged in our community and around the globe. We want to be intentional about meeting the 7 areas of need as outlined in Matthew 25:34-40 and James 1:27
  • Other – On occasion, there may be opportunities to give to a specific area such as our youth department, a local ministry fundraiser, or a community project.

If you have any questions please contact Jenny at 918-787-4365 or office@grovecos.com.
