Men's Breakfast
All men are invited to enjoy great food and fellowship at the monthly men's breakfast on Saturday, June 10th, at 9 am. The cost is donation only. For more information, please get in touch with Bruce Austin at 918-607-3122.
Project 7
Want to get involved with ministry? Here is a fun way to make a big difference:
One of Project 7’s ministry partners is our local food pantry, The Christian H.E.L.P. Center, located at 1703 E 290 Rd in Grove. One of the staple food products for this ministry is peanut butter, but it flies off the shelf. To help stock their shelves, the COS Staff has agreed to partner with the Smith’s small group to collect jars of peanut butter or cash donations to purchase PB (every $3 you donate equals one jar of PB.)
During the month of June, bring your donations to the lobby to vote on whom you want to see smooch a pig. The staff member with the most jars of peanut butter and cash donations on their table by June 30th will be captured on video kissing a Kunekune pig at the Whitney’s farm. The video will be shown on Sunday, July 2nd.

Tithes & Offerings
You give to the church, but where does it all go? Here is how your tithes and offerings are used at COS: Weekly tithes and unmarked offerings are deposited in the General Fund Account to be used towards operational expenses and other church-sponsored ministry areas. If you would like to contribute above your tithe, COS offers the following giving opportunities.
If you have any questions please contact Jenny at 918-787-4365 or office@grovecos.com.

Here is how your tithes and offerings are used at COS: Weekly tithes and unmarked offerings are deposited in the General Fund Account to be used towards operational expenses and other church-sponsored ministry areas. If you would like to contribute above your tithe, COS offers the following giving opportunities.
- Places & Spaces (Building Fund) - these funds are used for major improvements to the church building or building debt reduction as needed.
- Benevolence Fund – Our primary focus is people in our church and those living in the cities of Grove and Jay who are struggling to pay their utility bills and have received a cut-off notice. An application process is used, and a committee follows a set of guidelines to determine the amount of assistance to be awarded. It is our desire to be a “hand-up” ministry and work with willing applicants to teach them how to budget their resources so they can thrive instead of just trying to survive.
- Project 7 - At COS we want to be a part of what Jesus desires for his church. To do this, we partner with agencies to provide love and support for the poor and underprivileged in our community and around the globe. We want to be intentional about meeting the 7 areas of need as outlined in Matthew 25:34-40 and James 1:27
- Other – On occasion, there may be opportunities to give to a specific area such as our youth department, a local ministry fundraiser, or a community project.
If you have any questions please contact Jenny at 918-787-4365 or office@grovecos.com.
